We have ABB-IRC5 robots and some when switching from auto to manual teach pendant is freezing and no fault message .
Controller restarted and loaded an old system again . No changes have been made since 2016 and everything was working perfectly untill now.
Loading a backup fixed the issue but EPS needed to be configured again.
Now we are afraid it will happen again and really wanted to know why the Teachpendant freezes after switching to manual.It happened on several robots .
Maybe there is somebody who experienced this also and wants to share the problem _solution ?
