Hello everyone,
I want to communicate a kuka KR6 R900 sixx robot with a computer via TCP/IP communication with KUKAVARPROXY as server and OpenShowVar as client.
I have installed the KUKAVARPROXY server in the robot controller KRC4 Compact. I also added port 7000 to the KRC4 by following these steps: KUKA Menu -> Commissioning -> Network Configuration -> Advanced.
NAT -> Add Port -> Port number 7000 and I defined the allowed protocols: tcp/udp.
In the computer, I called the Python library OpenshowVar to create a client whose purpose is to connect to the KUKAVARPROXY server already running in the KRC4 Compact.
I tested communication between two computers using this method and it worked.
I tried with the ports (X65, X67.1, X67.2, X69, KONI) to activate the communication.
I tried to make a PING between the ipv4 address of the robot "192.168.0.1" and the ipv4 address of the computer "192.168.0.3". I get that there is no data loss. and when I try with the OpenShowVar to make the communication with the same address of the robot and with the port 7000. the test of the client gives me "False" as result.
The communication test between KRC4 and the computer did not work. There is something missing in the configuration inside the controller.
I will attach some pictures.
Note: The KUKASmartPad has Windows 7 as operating system.
Thank you in advance for your help.
with kind regards.
