Mostly there's a copyright-notice.
So it is not legal to send anything via mail...
Also it is not legal to post it here in the Forum.

But in Germany we say: "Wo kein Kläger, da ist auch kein Richter".
That is something like "Were nobody calls for the law, there will be no judge."

Well, I don't think that a manual is of any use, if you don't own the corresponding hardware. because of that the manufacturer of the robot might not really care, if the manuals are available elsewhere. But you are right, we should care about that more...
