Does anybody here know exactly which protocol do the SMB card is using in order to communicate with the IRC5 controller?

I'm making a special prototype and I need this information.

Hello.

I´ve got a similar problem.
For a special application I´d need very exact position data of the axes in the IRC5.
But it seems no matter how good  the input resoloution is, the controler doesn´t get the needed accuracy.

So if anybody knows how/in which protocol the datas are send and how I can check or even how to better the position data, I´d be very happy to get the information.

  What kind of position data do you need? Cartesian values or axis values. You can use RAPID instructions to read out actual positions.
